August has steadily become the month I look forward to the most every year because of @made.bike and all the awesome events that go on around it! This year I thought it would be fun to volunteer to get a behind the scene look and help out in the community I love being a part of. Incredible the way the cycling community comes together in Portland, indescribable to see returning faces and chat like @woodpeckercycleco @brulebicycles @sss.bike @truemarmalade and soooooo many more. On the eve of @made.bike a community bicycle showcase was hosted by @theathletic and @pnx.bags ! Lots of new and returning faces showed up to support the wonderful local cycling scene we are so fortunate to have here in Portland. Not only were there lots of cool things to look at, bev and cookies but also a FREE raffle 😮 Day two of the @portlandcriterium was just as awesome as day one!! @calderamedical_aurearacing came out swinging again and @kendall_ryan92 crossed the finish line first 💪 shoutout to all the riders who came out and put their skin on the line.
